I’m Karen Winslow, Founder and Partner of LIV Wealth Advisors, LLC. I’m a Certified Financial Planner™ with over three decades of experience helping clients pursue their financial goals. I founded Wintergreen Financial Group in 1995, and I’m excited to begin this new chapter with LIV Wealth Advisors.

My approach is centered on building strong, lasting relationships with clients and their families—relationships grounded in mutual trust. I’m committed to providing dedicated service, ensuring that financial plans remain aligned with life’s changes, and making adjustments when needed. As a true consultant, I strive to be the first person my clients think of when they have a financial question, concern, or challenge.

I hold a BA in Economics and Spanish from Colby College, which included a year of study at the London School of Economics. I’m proud to hold the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designations.

Community involvement is important to me. I currently serve as President of the Falmouth Lions Club and sit on the Board of the Maine Estate Planning Council. In the past, I’ve served on the Boards of the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors in Maine and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Maine. Being a Big Sister for over twenty years has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life.

I grew up in Bath, Maine, where I learned the spirit of entrepreneurship from my father, who owned Hallet’s Drug Store—complete with a soda fountain and homemade ice cream. Today, I live in Falmouth with my husband, John, and our dog, Sadie. Our daughter and her husband live in Portugal.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, boating on Casco Bay, skiing and snowmobiling at Sugarloaf, and spending time with my extended family.
